Let's Make A Change!

The Krewe of Evexia believes in assisting those who seek to broaden their education in order to attain new levels of professional opportunities. In support of advancing youth education and fostering career development for healthcare professionals, the Krewe of Evexia has developed several scholarships to award qualified individuals. The KOE Scholarship Fund provides financial assistance in the form of scholarships and awards. Scholarships are awarded every fall. Interested donors seeking to support the the KOE Scholarship Fund can do so by donating today.
WELLNESS SCHOLARSHIP
HEALER IN TRAINING
(HIT SCHOLARSHIP)
KOE CARES
Current college or vocational college students pursing healthcare related degrees or certificates.

Scholarship amount: $500
 
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student.
  • Must volunteer for 2 community events with the KOE Krewe.
  • CAN NOT BE A KOE MEMBER
Recent high school graduates accepted into post secondary education institutions majoring in the healthcare field.

Scholarship amount: $500
 
  • Recent high school graduate age 17 and older.
  • Must be currently enrolled as a
       full-time student.
  • Must volunteer for 2 community events with the KOE Krewe
Open to any student 18 years and older current enrolled in ANY field of study.

Scholarship amount: $500
 
  • Must be age 18 or older.
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student.
  • Must volunteer for 1 community event with the KOE Krewe
THE WEATHERSPOON SCHOLARSHIP

This award is for Registered Nurses who are advancing their education to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing pursing Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

 

Scholarship Amount: $1000

  • Have an active license as a Registered Nurse in good standing with the board of Nursing

  • Be enrolled in a BSN-DNP, MSN-DNP, or RN-MSN pursing PMHNP track only

  • At least 2 years of inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric experience  **no post psych certification students at this time**

  • CAN NOT BE A KOE MEMBER

  • Must volunteer for 3 community events with the KOE Krewe
